“Under Great White Northern Lights”: red, black and White Stripes

The White Stripes’ 16-song live album, Under Great White Northern Lights, will be released on March 16 together with Emmett Malloy documentary of the same name. The concert tour film (selected for Toronto International Film Festival 2009) tracks the 2007 cross-country tour of Canada, from Charlottetown to Toronto. The director also captured backstage, between gigs and the original Jack & Meg relationship, not forgetting the duo’s famous signature in red, black and white (stripes).
